This blog is to monitor the performance of the Federal Government of Australia on implementing its promises of reform to the Freedom of Information Act and general improvement in the administration and application of FOI.
We start with the clear statement that we will give praise where it is due. If there are improvements, we will commend the Government. But if there are not, we will let you know and criticise the Government.
The blog is also a vehicle for you to post comments on how you find the FOI Act being applied. Have there been improvements or not ? Do let us- and everyone else- know.
Our first post will be up in the next day or so.
